Long time no post

Well peeps I wish it was all good news as to why I haven't posted, sadly not. I can categorically state that 2013 is the lowest point of my entire life so far.
No. 1 son is trying so hard but can't get a job, he still remains positive to his credit and my pocket!, but he's a lovely lad so deserves support. Little Un, now not so little he is starting to tower over his elder brothers, revenge will be sweet, he is lovely and talented but he is a boy! Hopefully realisation and his brothers mistakes may help him realise earlier! He isnt doing too bad, off to south of France in July, skiing with school in February, rugby tour to France in April.
Number 2 still struggling with the dark side. Improved from before but still hits deep lows. Trying to hold him up to save him from drowning, his mum wants to let him go and sort himself out, I have a,ways been a softy despite the growling exterior.
My own Mum was diagnosed with ovarian and abdominal cancer about 2 months ago. She has had the first round of Chemo, knocked her for 6! She is soldiering on, the toll it s taking on my Dad is unfair. The medical profession have a lot to learn. So many forms! How many times guys do you need to ask an 80 year old woman how many children she has and when her last period was? In the age of technology we appear to have forgotten the human factor!
The Irish trip was great as always, shame it went downhill when I got home and my wife asked for a divorce! I hasten to add nothing to do with the trip!
So what the rest of the year holds I have no idea.
3 kicks in the bollocks is enough or any man. People tell me I am tough, maybe but how much of a kicking can you take. Oh and by the way I am still trying to run 2 businesses.
No.2 son blipped whilst I was on Emerald Isle, my mate Dave the Overgraduate was amazing as always, thank you sir, one day I hope to be able to repay you.
This weekend I have him home to do coursework much to the dismay of she who must be obeyed.
I have spent 6 hours in intense study mode and when he suggested he was going out you would have
thought he was 13 not 23 and she had done the work!
So the future is a blank page now. Not quite what I envisaged at all. Quiet run down to retirement, no chance now. How do you even contemplate looking for a new partner at 54?
I will keep you posted.
Need some sun!
Ps just read my post after Xmas, how wrong could I ave been!
